Episode 1

The Rumor

Mysterious reports of animal attacks that spread in the small forest town have local teens Elliot, Sami, and Levi interested in rumors about a mysterious creature lurking in the woods. The scientifically-minded Elliot convinces his tech-savvy friend Sami to set up cameras to investigate the incident. In the woods, they encounter Levi, a local of these woods, and tell him about the strange happenings they have encountered, to which he enlightens them. His skepticism leads him to go on this expedition nonetheless. The group also hires Jax, a 19-year-old hermit with wilderness survival skills, who says in his induction that he has seen the monster before. On their first night in the woods, they find a campsite that has been destroyed, eerie claw marks, and hear unearthly howls. The night takes a terrifying turn when they spot glowing eyes staring at them through the dark, forcing the group to flee.

Episode 2

Signs And Shadows

Shaken but determined, the group goes back into the forest during daylight to gather more evidence. They come upon some disturbing clues: one ripped tent, enormous marks of claws on trees, and strange, ancient-looking carvings on some nearby rocks. Levi recognizes the markings and explains that he's seen them before in places where animals went missing. Tensions flare as Jax starts to get paranoid, telling the group they're not ready for what's gonna happen when it shows up. Meanwhile, Sami has motion sensors and deploys a net of drones covering the forest. The investigation goes to a darker turn when Levi finds dead animals laid out ritually in stacks, proof that something more intelligent-and malevolent-than any predator is present. That night, the drones capture views of a dark figure sprinting at supernatural speed between the trees; the group is terrified and excited by what they might be close to discovering.

Episode 3

The Trap

With this discovery, they devise a dangerous plan to smoke the monster out. Sami prepares a sound trap of animal calls recorded and electronic frequencies in the hope of antagonizing the creature. Levi leads the group deep into the forest, where he has noticed unusual behavior by the wildlife. While they're setting a trap, Jax reveals the first time the monster attacked him all those years ago, and how that has left him so emotionally and physically scarred. When the sound trap goes off, the woods go dead quiet for a second, and then the creature makes its presence finally known: It's big, it's fast, and way scarier than they imagined as it forces teens to run for their lives. Elliot heroically distracts the monster as his friends make time to get away, but the night leaves them scarred and shaken. Later regrouped to review their footage, they make a chilling discovery: evidence that might suggest this monster may not be a lone creature of the forest.
